This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hungary.
• Take charge of Precision's worldwide R&D tax credit program and associated innovation incentive initiatives.
• Formulate and implement annual filing strategies and compliance plans across all participating nations.
• Recognize qualifying R&D activities and optimize eligible claims.
• Organize documentation, financial support, technical narratives, and deliverables from advisors.
• Oversee external tax advisors, consultants, auditors, and government entities.
• Lead the responses to reviews, audits, and information requests from tax authorities.
• Monitor legislative and regulatory changes impacting incentives.
• Uphold governance, documentation standards, controls, and readiness for audits.
• Assess potential new countries for R&D tax incentives, grants, and innovation funding.
• Build business cases for entering new jurisdictions.
• Develop scalable processes, templates, and governance frameworks.
• Collaborate with regional finance and operational leaders to initiate and manage programs.
• Offer strategic recommendations to executive leadership.
• Create KPI frameworks and reporting systems.
• Streamline reporting and enhance data quality with the support of data and analytics teams.
• Conduct financial modeling, forecasting, and benefit realization analysis.
• Generate executive dashboards and presentations.
• Identify opportunities for process automation and operational efficiency.
• Assist with cross-functional analytics, reporting, master data, process improvement, automation, and operational excellence projects.
• Collaborate with Finance, IT, HR, Clinical Operations, and Business Operations teams.
• Facilitate self-service reporting and governance frameworks for KPIs.
• Contribute to initiatives focused on the transformation of Finance and Analytics.
• A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in life sciences, CRO, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or professional services sectors.
• Over 7 years of experience in R&D tax credits, government incentives, grants, finance, analytics, consulting, or related fields.
• Proven experience managing intricate global programs with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong skills in financial analysis, business analysis, and project management.
• Experience collaborating with international business teams and external advisors.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Capability to convey complex technical and financial concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Preferred qualifications include an MBA, CPA, MST, PMP, PhD, or an equivalent advanced degree.
• Preferred experience with international R&D incentive programs, grants, and innovation funding mechanisms.
• Preferred familiarity with Power BI, data visualization, and business intelligence platforms.
• Preferred experience in supporting data governance, analytics, or business transformation projects.
