Senior Program Manager, Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the chief decision-maker for the program that supports a significant federal enterprise cloud platform.

• Partner with government and company executives to define the program's direction, oversee its delivery, and ensure it adheres to scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.

• Function as the main point of accountability for program delivery, performance, and customer satisfaction.

• Oversee contractual obligations, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.

• Lead the planning, execution, communication, coordination, and reporting of the program.

• Manage and mentor project managers and team leads.

• Implement the program using Agile and Scaled Agile (SAFe) methodologies and practices.

• Identify and manage risks while executing mitigation strategies.

• Establish and nurture strong relationships with government stakeholders.

• Recognize and pursue growth opportunities.

• Ensure compliance with quality, security, and regulatory standards.

• Responsible for recruitment, performance evaluation, timecard reviews, PTO management, and team development.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 9+ years of relevant experience; equivalent experience may substitute for formal education.

• At least 5 years of experience managing technology service delivery programs, including complex, mission-critical initiatives in a SAFe environment.

• Proven experience in leading cloud platform or operations and maintenance programs.

• Demonstrated expertise in managing contracts, budgets, and resources.

• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Public Trust/suitability determination.

• Project Management Professional (PMP), ITIL, or a similar project/service delivery certification is preferred.

• Agile certification is required, such as PMI-ACP, AgilePM Foundation, ICAgile Certified Professional, Certified Scrum Master, SAFe Agilist, or an equivalent.
