Senior Program Manager, Medical Affairs

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Assist in the development of competencies and activities related to Medical Education and Medical Affairs required by the RLM organization.

• Oversee the planning, execution, and monitoring of Medical Affairs initiatives and strategic programs.

• Convert scientific and business objectives into actionable project plans in collaboration with Medical Affairs leaders.

• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure project delivery on time, within scope, and in alignment with organizational priorities.

• Create and maintain program timelines, risk management plans, KPIs, and reports for executive-level stakeholders.

• Aid in evidence generation, scientific communication, publication planning, and educational activities.

• Facilitate governance processes, stakeholder alignment, and decision-making across both global and regional teams.

• Identify ways to enhance Medical Affairs processes, tools, and operational methods.

• Collaborate with Clinical and Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Marketing and Commercial, Health Economics, and other stakeholders.

• Support meetings, conferences, and strategic initiatives, which may involve occasional travel.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Nursing, Public Health, Biomedical Sciences, Business, or a related field.

• Extensive experience in Medical Affairs, Medical Education, Healthcare, Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, or Life Sciences environments.

• Proven experience in leading complex cross-functional programs and projects with multiple stakeholders.

• Strong project and program management abilities, including planning, risk management, and execution.

• Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the capacity to influence at all organizational levels.

• Proficient in developing and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting progress to leadership teams.

• Willingness to travel internationally (>60%).

• An advanced degree (MBA, MSc, PharmD, or PhD) is preferred.

• Project management certification is a plus.

• Experience supporting global Medical Affairs organizations or teams is advantageous.

• Familiarity with surgical clinical procedures, surgical instruments and technologies, and robotics is beneficial.
