This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the creation, execution, and ongoing enhancement of engineering measurement systems.
• Act as the primary liaison among Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain.
• Establish, track, and enhance key performance indicators (KPIs) that influence design and product quality, timely delivery, and Design for Manufacturability.
• Design and implement the engineering quality metrics program across all product categories.
• Standardize the processes for collecting and reporting engineering and product quality data across design and manufacturing locations.
• Lead cross-functional projects aimed at minimizing quality problems and boosting product reliability.
• Identify, set up data sources for, monitor, and maintain KPIs such as Design defect density, Field failure rate, First-pass yield, and Supplier quality performance.
• Collaborate with the Data & Analytics team to create automated dashboards and reports to enhance leadership visibility.
• Foster structured problem-solving approaches for design quality challenges.
• Work closely with engineering teams and manufacturing to pinpoint recurring problems and apply design-for-quality strategies.
• Assist in internal and external quality audits and ensure documentation aligns with compliance requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering (master’s degree is preferred).
• Over 7 years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, or quality leadership positions in power distribution equipment, electrical assemblies, or industrial systems manufacturing.
• Proven track record of implementing engineering quality systems or performance dashboards.
• Knowledge of power distribution components (switchgear, MCCs, breakers, relays, busbars, etc.).
• Expertise in data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) and statistical software (Minitab, Excel).
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities across both technical and executive levels.
