This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the clinical leader for the Eating Disorder service line, providing strategic guidance and collaborating with executive, operational, and physician leadership to ensure the delivery of top-quality, evidence-based care across all locations.
• Oversee the development, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of the Eating Disorder clinical model, which includes evidence-based therapies, assessments, curriculum, clinical workflows, and role expectations to maintain consistency and fidelity across programs.
• Work with program leaders to establish, standardize, and continuously enhance clinical processes, daily program operations, documentation standards, and Electronic Medical Record content that facilitate effective program delivery.
• Offer clinical consultation, coaching, supervision, and direct clinical services as required to support patient care, program quality, and organizational initiatives.
• In close collaboration with Learning and Development, assist in creating and implementing clinical onboarding, competency standards, training curricula, and ongoing professional development.
• Assess program quality through fidelity reviews, measurement-based care, patient outcomes, operational metrics, and stakeholder feedback, utilizing data to drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure that program design, curriculum, and clinical practices adhere to organizational policies, accreditation standards, regulatory requirements, and Joint Commission expectations.
• Formulate and implement the strategic vision for the Eating Disorder service line, identifying opportunities to introduce, expand, and enhance services across various levels of care, developmental populations, and geographic markets.
• Analyze market trends, emerging evidence, payer needs, and patient demand to guide program development, innovation, and future service offerings.
• Collaborate with Finance and Operations departments to create business cases for new programs and ensure clinical program design supports organizational sustainability while upholding exceptional quality of care.
• Track key performance indicators—including access, average daily census, length of stay, patient outcomes, patient experience, referral patterns, and program costs/revenue—to inform strategic planning and service line performance.
• Represent the Eating Disorder specialty in strategic planning initiatives, new site development, recruitment, workforce planning, and other organizational growth efforts.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Outreach to enhance referral pathways, develop clinically accurate educational content, and position Compass as a leader in eating disorder treatment through presentations, webinars, conferences, and other thought leadership opportunities.
• Cultivate and maintain collaborative relationships with referral partners, professional organizations, academic institutions, and community providers to support program growth and enhance organizational visibility.
• Identify opportunities for innovation, research, and publication that further both the organization's mission and the advancement of the field of eating disorder treatment.
• Exceptional time management skills.
• Knowledge and experience in Eating Disorder Treatment utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI) clinical models.
• Ability to manage multiple demands simultaneously in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Expertise in Eating Disorder treatment using evidence-based models.
• Licensed Doctorate Level Psychologist or a Master’s Level Clinician.
• At least 7 years of clinical behavioral health experience with children, adolescents, or adults.
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical supervisory/leadership experience in mental health settings.
• Experience working with patients in crisis.
• Background in program development.
• Experience in staff training and public speaking.
• Proficient in interviewing and hiring processes.
• Clinical experience conducting intakes, assessments, and individual, family, and group therapy.
• Capable of guiding teams through change.
