Senior Program Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the primary leader for all contract-related activities and tasks, including those allocated and/or assigned to task team leads, individual contributors, partners, and vendors.

• Comprehend intricate technical and program requirements for the entire lifecycle of events, and create plans, policies, procedures, resource allocations, schedules, and budgets to fulfill those requirements.

• Organize, oversee, and manage team members and contract support functions for multiple, complex, interrelated project administration and event planning tasks; assign, delegate, and track task progress to completion; provide status updates as necessary.

• Ensure that team members grasp the requirements and equip them with the essential resources, training, and support to guarantee successful task execution and high-quality performance.

• Maintain regular and open communication with government customers (including Unit Ministry Teams (UMTs), event leaders, program administrators, event participants, and other stakeholders, including senior leadership) to keep them informed about program, project, and task progress, resource and information needs, estimated completion timelines, and program risks/mitigation strategies, while ensuring that questions and concerns are addressed promptly and transparently.

• Identify and document both short-term and long-term risks and challenges, and devise strategies for risk reduction and mitigation.

• Propose and/or recommend alternative policies, procedures, approaches, and documentation for government review and approval, as necessary.

• Lead and/or engage in customer and internal team meetings.

• Collaborate with task team leads and others to prepare and submit required deliverables, reports, status updates, and other contract-related documents; ensure that work products are uniform, consistent, and align with customer and Seneca quality standards.

• Embody the core values and corporate mission in all interactions with stakeholders, maintaining a customer-focused and mission-driven approach.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Hospitality, Events Planning, or a related field.

• At least 5 years of supervisory experience managing teams of 20 or more employees.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience overseeing event/meeting planners, training coordinators, and/or logistics specialists in a dynamic, high-volume environment.

• Demonstrated experience in managing large-scale, multi-location events, meetings, conferences, and/or training programs for federal government initiatives.

• Must obtain a DOD Secret Level Clearance within six months of the contract start date and maintain that Clearance throughout the duration of the contract.
