Senior Program Manager

📋 Description

• Act as the main point of contact for clients and internal 2F teams, managing program health and relationships comprehensively across both government and commercial projects.

• Oversee program initiation activities including defining the WBS, establishing business rhythms, defining processes, and setting up infrastructure to ensure contract compliance from the outset.

• Create, maintain, and manage integrated master schedules (IMS), milestones, and dependencies within complex, multi-stakeholder programs.

• Handle contract lifecycle activities such as contract administration, CDRL generation and delivery, modification tracking, and ensuring all deliverables satisfy contractual requirements.

• Organize and lead regular status meetings, customer reviews, program reviews, and executive briefings — providing clear and concise updates on program health, risks, and priorities.

• Track and manage program financials, including budget baselines, burn rates, EACs, and obligation timelines, identifying variances and implementing corrective actions.

• Identify, track, and mitigate program risks and dependencies; maintain an active risk register and facilitate resolutions across internal and external stakeholders.

• Assist with ROM development, proposal efforts, and contract negotiations in collaboration with business development and finance teams.

• Generate and distribute high-quality monthly status reports, program dashboards, and ad hoc reporting for both government and commercial clients.

• Collaborate with engineering, product, and security teams to ensure technical deliverables align with program requirements, schedules, and compliance standards.

• Foster program growth by identifying expansion opportunities within existing accounts and supporting capture initiatives alongside the Public Sector team.

• Ensure that all program activities adhere to relevant regulations, security requirements, and contractual obligations, including DoD acquisition frameworks and OTA agreements.

• Up to 25% travel may be necessary at times to support critical client integrations.


⛳️ Requirements

• 15+ years of Program Management experience, particularly within DoD acquisition.

• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance or proven eligibility and capability to obtain one immediately.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills for on-site collaboration in a fast-paced, startup-like government environment.

• Experience interfacing directly with senior government stakeholders, including delivering executive-level briefings to DoD leadership.

• Program Management Support: Contract management, schedule development, CDRL generation and planning, assisting with status and customer meetings, ROM and proposal support, dependencies and risk management, and monthly status reporting.

• Program Startup Support: Assist in the early phases of program initiation to establish necessary infrastructure for the team and ensure contract compliance, including WBS definition, process definition and refinement, business rhythm definition, and schedule & milestone preparation and support.

• Program Leadership: Act as the primary point of contact for customers and the 2F team for small projects, both internal and external.
