This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Oversee impactful medical device development initiatives encompassing hardware, systems, and consumables from initial concept to market launch.
• Coordinate and guide cross-disciplinary teams spanning Engineering, Quality, Regulatory, Operations, Marketing, and external collaborators.
• Create and consistently enhance integrated program strategies, actively managing scope, timelines, resources, dependencies, and critical pathways.
• Proactively identify, evaluate, and mitigate program risks, prioritizing actions based on their impact on the business.
• Facilitate structured, data-informed problem-solving for intricate technical and organizational challenges.
• Ensure program alignment with shifting business priorities, customer requirements, and relevant medical device regulatory standards.
• Manage executive-level communication, foster cross-functional alignment, address trade-offs, and sustain progress across complex programs.
• Cultivate a collaborative, high-performance culture that promotes innovation and ongoing improvement.
• Act as a role model for exemplary program management by sharing best practices and mentoring colleagues.
• A minimum of 6 years of program management experience overseeing the complete product development and commercialization of regulated products.
• At least 4 years in the Medical Device sector, with practical experience leading programs that achieved FDA 510(k) clearance.
• Proven track record in leading large-scale, global, and interdependent programs within technical fields.
• Practical experience with process enhancement and metrics, utilizing tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Fortive Business Systems (FBS).
• History of mentoring and developing high-achieving project teams.
• Established capability to coach, mentor, and enhance team performance in a Project Management Office (PMO) or cross-functional setting.
• Ambition and preparedness to assume formal leadership roles within a PMO.
