This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Become part of a team committed to enhancing national security through innovative expertise in irregular warfare and operations.
• Oversee the financial operations of the program in line with the customer's financial guidelines.
• Deliver financial support and analysis for planning, forecasting, and informed decision-making.
• Prepare and track the progress of program Estimate at Completion (EAC) and assess cost performance against established plans.
• Accountable for all financial aspects of the program, including the management and review of costs, funding, labor charges, forecasting, internal reporting, and the preparation, review, and submission of invoices.
• Create financial controls, procedures, systems, and forecasting methods to assess contract/program status and guarantee compliance with Government and customer standards.
• Aid in the development and/or maintenance of contract deliverables.
• Supervise and mentor other finance staff.
• Set objectives and plans that align with project goals.
• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline.
• Over 10 years of experience in federal program finance.
• Proven expertise in financial operations and analysis, preferably in DoD and Army contexts, with a focus on complex financial reporting and requirements.
• Previous experience in successfully leading financial analysts or similar teams.
• Comprehensive understanding of cost analysis, forecasting, and financial control systems, ensuring adherence to government and customer requirements across various projects.
• Demonstrated strategic insight in financial planning, decision-making assistance, and performance monitoring for large government contracts.
• Advanced skills in developing and managing travel and purchasing processes, along with the ability to create detailed financial reports.
• Proficient in mentoring finance staff and defining project goals and objectives across a range of assignments.
• Utilizes technical expertise for high-impact financial tasks, contributing to vital program deliverables and enhancing cost-saving strategies.
• Intermediate or advanced MS Excel skills, including proficiency with pivot tables, filters, sumifs, and vlookups, to analyze large data sets and generate monthly manual spreadsheet reports for invoice processing.
