Senior Professional Services Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Provide deployment advisory and implementation services to enterprise clients adopting the Zscaler Zero Trust Exchange platform.

• Collaborate with customer Cloud, Network, and Security teams to design and implement scalable Zero Trust solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP.

• Partner with Sales, Customer Success, Support, Product, and Engineering teams to ensure favorable customer outcomes.

• Oversee complete customer engagements from discovery and planning to design, deployment, validation, and go-live.

• Design and implement Zscaler Zero Trust Cloud and Cloud Connector solutions for cloud workloads, encompassing Internet Egress, East-West traffic inspection, and hybrid connectivity.

• Utilize Terraform and Infrastructure as Code to create scalable, repeatable deployments and develop technical deliverables consistent with SOWs and methodologies.

• Conduct technical workshops, deployment planning, testing, troubleshooting, and knowledge-transfer sessions.

• Cultivate expertise in the evolving Zscaler portfolio and contribute to enhancements in delivery processes.

• Travel to customer sites as required for short-term engagements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Exhibited curiosity and active exploration of AI tools, with a proven track record of integrating new technologies to improve daily workflows and enhance problem-solving capabilities.

• Experience in Consulting or Professional Services within enterprise networking, cloud security, or Zero Trust, with practical knowledge in designing and implementing Zscaler Zero Trust Exchange platform solutions.

• Practical experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud workloads.

• Strong grasp of VPC/VNET, routing, DNS, NAT, load balancing, and hybrid connectivity.

• Familiarity with Cloud Connector or similar cloud-based traffic inspection technologies.

• Working knowledge of TCP/IP, IPsec, GRE, HTTP/HTTPS, and DNS protocols.

• Hands-on experience with Terraform / Infrastructure as Code, Git, CI/CD, and network troubleshooting tools such as Wireshark, tcpdump, traceroute, or MTR.

• Excellent customer-facing communication, presentation, and technical workshop facilitation skills.

• Extensive technical versatility across cloud infrastructure, networking technologies, and security platforms.

• Preferred: In-depth expertise in Zscaler Zero Trust Cloud, Cloud Connector, ZIA, ZPA, DLP, SSL Inspection, Cloud Browser Isolation, and NSS.

• Preferred: Advanced cloud architecture experience in AWS, Azure, or GCP, including multi-account setups, hub-and-spoke configurations, Transit Gateway, GWLB, Azure Virtual WAN, and legacy migration projects.

• Preferred: Advanced experience with Terraform / IaC and certifications such as CCIE, CISSP, CCSP, AWS, Azure, or equivalent cloud/networking credentials.
