This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +3 more states.
• Direct and manage the daily production and operational activities that support enterprise healthcare information technology services.
• Supervise the execution of training operations, production support efforts, and value stream initiatives to guarantee timely and efficient service delivery.
• Facilitate collaboration across various functional organizations to achieve operational goals, enhance system performance, and meet customer needs.
• Track operational performance and implement ongoing process improvements that boost efficiency, quality, and service delivery.
• Formulate operational plans, schedules, and resource strategies to align with production goals and organizational priorities.
• Anticipate customer demand, workload needs, and resource utilization to ensure operational readiness and effective service delivery.
• Partner with program leadership, clinical stakeholders, technical teams, and business managers to synchronize operational activities and address issues impacting production performance.
• Evaluate operational metrics and key performance indicators to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities for process enhancement.
• Lead operational response efforts during surge support, production challenges, system releases, and implementation events.
• Ensure that production activities comply with organizational policies, quality standards, service level agreements, and federal healthcare regulations.
• Drive operational enhancements that improve workflow efficiency, customer satisfaction, and overall organizational performance.
• Identify operational risks and develop mitigation strategies to reduce disruptions to clinical and business operations.
• Create operational reports, status updates, performance analyses, and recommendations for program leadership.
• Assist governance efforts by establishing and maintaining operational procedures, documentation, and best practices.
• A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, Operations Management, Public Health, or a related discipline.
• At least **8 years** of progressively responsible experience in production operations, operations management, healthcare administration, healthcare information technology, or similar operational environments.
• Proven experience in coordinating cross-functional operational activities within complex organizations.
• Experience in managing production operations, operational planning, workflow optimization, and process improvement initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare operations, customer service delivery, performance management, and operational governance.
• Experience in forecasting workload, coordinating resources, and ensuring operational readiness.
• Exceptional organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with executive leadership, program managers, technical teams, and business stakeholders.
