Senior Production Operations Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Oversee the activities of organizations involved in EHR Go-Live, recovery, and PGL Operations; manage the production and distribution of healthcare support services while driving improvements in overall operations.

• Facilitate Value Stream Enablement by coordinating teams, resources, and execution efforts to efficiently deliver value as VHA expands from six active sites to many additional locations.

• Assist with centralized upskilling and onboarding operations, which includes managing logistics for training delivery, scheduling, and the shipping of training materials to remote upskilling sites.

• Anticipate operational needs and collaborate with managers across various departments to sequence and allocate resources for surge tasks.

• Enhance and maintain standard operating procedures, operational trackers, and execution schedules for surge-support initiatives.

• Aid in the Tiered Hub prioritization process and monitor operational metrics to facilitate prompt and targeted interventions.

• Contribute to the preparation of weekly task reports, bi-monthly budget monitors, and monthly progress updates.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) is required.

• At least 8 years of pertinent production/operations experience is necessary.

• Proven experience in healthcare operations or health IT program execution, preferably within a large integrated delivery system or VHA.

• Background in supporting EHR deployment, training operations, or command-center logistics is essential.

• Knowledge of Lean/Agile execution methodologies and operational performance metrics is important.

• Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and comprehending the English language is required.

• Ability to secure and maintain a favorable VA background investigation at the Low Risk / NACI level, including electronic fingerprinting and e-QIP submission.
