This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Enhance and safeguard Axonius’s platform alongside its cutting-edge AI-driven functionalities.
• Take ownership of the security strategy throughout the development lifecycle.
• Ensure that modern cloud and distributed systems are designed with safety as a priority.
• Provide support for core development teams located in Israel and Portugal.
• Work collaboratively with R&D teams to identify, prioritize, and implement security requirements and mitigation strategies across the development lifecycle.
• Perform security reviews focusing on architecture, design, and threat modeling for web applications, AWS cloud, and distributed systems.
• Create actionable security architecture documents, design specifications, and technical guidelines for engineering teams.
• Lead incident response initiatives during active cybersecurity events related to products and coordinate cross-functional remediation efforts among engineering teams.
• A minimum of 5 years of hands-on software development experience, with at least 3 years focused on application security or product security roles.
• Professional experience in analyzing, reading, and assessing codebase architecture within a product-focused tech stack.
• Practical experience working directly in AWS cloud environments and developing application threat models.
• Active experience using AI/LLM-based tools (such as Claude, Augment) to enhance development workflows, research, or productivity.
• Proficient in both written and verbal communication in English.
• Hands-on experience in security architecture, specifically in integrating and securing AI/LLM technologies within modern commercial B2B products.
• Professional experience in designing security frameworks for contemporary cloud/SaaS stacks and legacy medical device/hardware environments.
• Industry-recognized security certifications, including CISSP, OSCP, or CCSP.
• Demonstrated history of published security research, CVE submissions, bug bounty participation, or presentations at security conferences.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (preferred).
