This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Implement the strategic roadmap for State & Payer Solutions products and capabilities in collaboration with Product Management.

• Convert market demands, client insights, regulatory updates, and business strategies into product capabilities and development priorities.

• Discover opportunities to enhance workflow, automation, reporting, interoperability, and user experience.

• Engage in industry thought leadership, client advisory roles, conferences, and product demonstrations.

• Assist Sales by providing product expertise, conducting demonstrations, and preparing RFP responses, Statements of Work, and solution designs.

• Oversee the Agile delivery lifecycle and guide business analysis for assigned software and analytics projects.

• Manage and prioritize multiple product backlogs; outline Epics, Features, User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, and business rules.

• Conduct discovery sessions with internal stakeholders, clients, state agencies, and health plans.

• Convert business, regulatory, policy, and operational requirements into functional specifications, workflow diagrams, and data mapping.

• Lead backlog refinement, sprint planning, and sprint acceptance; evaluate completed work against acceptance criteria.

• Verify delivered functionality against business requirements and operational outcomes.

• Coordinate cross-team dependencies and manage competing priorities across various initiatives.

• Define business requirements for analytics, dashboards, performance reporting, and data products.

• Collaborate on quality measures, payment methodologies, benchmarking, predictive analytics, and performance evaluation.

• Validate methodologies, calculations, reporting outputs, and business logic.

• Work with Data Science to ensure that analytical deliverables align with contractual, regulatory, and client requirements.

• Create and maintain documentation for analytical methodologies and reporting specifications.

• Collaborate with Engineering, QA, Product Management, Data Science, Client Success, Sales, Marketing, Compliance, and Executive Leadership.

• Communicate priorities, risks, dependencies, and timelines while facilitating decision-making.

• Mentor Product Owners and Business Analysts.

• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of Agile delivery, business analysis, and product management processes.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Nursing, Public Health, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• 4+ years of experience as both a Product Owner and Business Analyst, or in a blended role, within Product Management, Business Analysis, Healthcare Consulting, or similar healthcare technology positions.

• Proven track record on complex software development projects.

• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, Scrum practices, and software development lifecycles.

• Experience in defining functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, workflows, and business rules.

• Familiarity with State Medicaid Agencies, Medicaid Managed Care Organizations, other health plans, or healthcare technology vendors catering to the payer market is preferred.

• Experience with healthcare consulting firms that support payer or government healthcare programs is preferred.

• Background in translating healthcare policy, payment methodologies, quality programs, and business/operational requirements into software and analytical solutions is preferred.

• Experience collaborating with Data Science, Business Intelligence, or Analytics teams to define business requirements and validate analytical deliverables is preferred.

• Knowledge of HEDIS, CMS Adult and Child Core Sets, quality measurement, value-based payment, healthcare interoperability, and healthcare data standards is preferred.

• Product Owner certification such as CSPO, PSPO, SAFe POPM, or equivalent is preferred.

• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar Agile product management tools.

• Experience with Business Intelligence platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, Sisense, or similar.

• SQL or similar data query experience is preferred.

• Proficient in Microsoft 365, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

• Experience with AI tools and a willingness to adopt company-designated tools as they develop.

• Experience in healthcare analytics, reporting, or data warehouse environments is preferred.

• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional and external stakeholders in healthcare payer and value-based care initiatives.
