This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +1 more state.
• Develop and sustain one or more Scrum Team Roadmaps.
• Organize and prioritize the Backlog based on business value or ROI.
• Communicate the Vision and Goals at the start of each Release and Sprint.
• Act as a representative, interface with, and engage the customer.
• Collaborate with Scrum teams regarding Feature development, Product backlog upkeep, user stories, sprint assistance, and UAT testing.
• Partner with BAs and Technology to formulate Behavior Driven Development stories when suitable.
• Break down Epics, Themes, and Features into sprint-sized user stories.
• Engage in daily Scrums, Sprint Planning, Release Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Review product progress and decide on the acceptance or rejection of completed work.
• Evaluate and adjust the project direction at the conclusion of each Sprint as necessary.
• Maintain connections with business and clients to comprehend current and evolving needs.
• Take part in Organizational readiness activities.
• Serve as the main internal and external contact for team updates and feedback.
• Identify and track KPIs that support the team and the designated product.
• Independently lead and manage intricate projects and interactions with business partners.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions.
• Set annual product goals, objectives, and outcomes; monitor and assess KPIs.
• Provide essential leadership to propel Scrum teams forward.
• Coach and mentor fellow Product Owners and Scrum Team members.
• Attend steering Center of Practice meetings.
• Bachelor's degree in business or a technology-related discipline.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong working knowledge of Agile and SDLC methodologies.
• At least 10 years of experience in the relevant business domain, such as 401(k), IRA, or 529.
• A minimum of 10 years’ experience as a Product Owner or within a Technology (Development or QA) environment.
• Proven experience in applying and executing Agile principles.
• Strong technical capabilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting and deliver high-quality work that adheres to standards, regulations, and audit requirements.
• Excellent consultative communication and writing skills.
• Ability to engage with and influence all levels within the organization.
• Experience with facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, change management, continuous improvement, empowerment, and enhancing transparency.
• Curiosity, attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and research capabilities.
• Knowledge and/or experience with Confluence, JIRA, Azure DevOps, and Aha!
• Experience managing Confluence, JIRA, Azure DevOps, and Aha! is a plus.
