This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Take ownership of and oversee the team backlog, ensuring alignment with product priorities and desired outcomes.
• Convert features into user stories that include acceptance criteria, dependencies, risks, and success metrics.
• Facilitate backlog refinement, sprint planning, prioritization, and various Agile ceremonies.
• Manage scope decisions during sprints, including trade-offs, risks, dependencies, and constraints.
• Guarantee timely, high-quality delivery throughout sprints and releases.
• Collaborate with Product Managers on executing roadmaps and developing business cases.
• Work alongside Engineering, QA, UX, Platform, Solution Leads, and business stakeholders.
• Coordinate dependencies and alignment between teams and act as an escalation point for delivery teams.
• Integrate customer feedback through UX research and usability studies.
• Confirm measurable feature value and assist in value tracking.
• Offer insights on solution design, technical trade-offs, timelines, and alternative approaches.
• Support validation, governance, release readiness, and consistency in configuration.
• Engage in PI planning and scaled Agile activities.
• Foster continuous improvement and provide mentorship to junior Product Owners as needed.
• Acquire high-level work estimates for Phase A and Phase B.
• Prioritize the ART Backlog and outline objectives for Program Increments.
• Assist in defining customer journey, process flow, epic, feature, and work estimation for Phase B approval.
• Facilitate software selection to meet the product requirements.
• Act as the primary escalation contact for Delivery Product Owners in the ART.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Bachelor’s degree along with 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• Over 5 years of experience employing Agile methodologies in a Product Owner capacity.
• More than 5 years in Product Owner or Agile delivery roles.
• Experience working with cross-functional Agile teams utilizing Scrum or SAFe.
• Proven experience managing complex products or dependencies.
• Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms.
• Strong preference for knowledge in IT systems development.
• Understanding of software development technologies is beneficial.
• Experience in developing medical devices and/or other highly regulated products is a plus.
• Background in regulated environments and/or digital/CRM platforms preferred.
• Excellent communication skills suitable for diverse technical audiences.
• Capability to convert business needs into actionable delivery plans.
• Proficient in prioritizing and managing multiple workstreams.
• Ability to influence others without direct authority.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, verbal, and written communication abilities.
• Capacity to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proactive in stakeholder communication.
• Detail-oriented with the capacity to assess multiple priorities.
• Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
• Willingness to travel within the US as needed, at least once per quarter.
• Experience with insulin pump development is an advantage.
