This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop standardized, documented definitions for core product metrics across more than 60 products.
• Create and sustain a data dictionary that includes each metric's formula, source, and ownership.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineering to set consistent standards for product-usage instrumentation.
• Construct and maintain product health dashboards categorized by product, vertical, and portfolio.
• Conduct cohort-based analyses of account- and product-level retention and churn rates.
• Evaluate win/loss data to deliver insights relevant to the product roadmap.
• Work alongside Finance to analyze product-line P&L, margins, and unit economics.
• Integrate usage, retention, win/loss, and financial signals into clear recommendations.
• Organize and facilitate weekly, monthly, and quarterly planning and review sessions.
• Monitor strategic initiatives, tracking progress, risks, blockers, and dependencies.
• Develop early-warning systems to identify slipping initiatives.
• Oversee the selection, administration, accessibility, and standards for roadmapping, product analytics, and feedback/research tools.
• Create playbooks and onboard Product Managers to product tools and metric definitions.
• Coordinate efforts with Product Management, Engineering, Finance, Product Marketing, Sales, and Product leadership.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in product operations, product/business analytics, strategy and operations, business operations, or management consulting; or at least 6 years with a Master's degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience in or related to a B2B software or SaaS product organization.
• Strong practical data skills, particularly with SQL.
• Proficiency in using a BI tool such as Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or Metabase.
• Familiarity with a product analytics platform like Pendo, Amplitude, or Mixpanel.
• Proven track record of establishing reporting systems, metric definitions, or operational cadences that are adopted and sustained by an organization.
• Senior individual contributor experience in resolving complex issues across various product lines or verticals.
• Capability to independently choose methods and evaluation criteria.
• Exceptional written communication skills, with the ability to simplify complexity into concise, decision-ready narratives for senior leaders.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Preferred: experience in establishing a Product Operations or analytics function for the first time.
• Preferred: comfort in operating as a senior individual contributor/program owner without direct reports.
• Preferred: familiarity with ERP, accounting, or finance-domain software and customer workflows.
• Preferred: experience collaborating with Finance on product-line P&L, margin, or unit economics analysis.
