This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Take ownership of and continuously enhance Pliant’s Product Operating System — including roadmaps, PRDs, OKRs, feature-request triage, release management, retrospectives, and KPIs — integrating today’s fragmented processes into a unified system.
• Create and deploy AI-driven workflows that alleviate the workload of PMs — spanning PRD drafting, feature-request triage, and release notes — and interlink them throughout the operating system.
• Foster consistency across our technology organization where necessary, while allowing teams the freedom to operate independently where appropriate.
• Establish the foundation for Product analytics: Collaborate with our Data team to develop and uphold dashboard infrastructure, KPI governance, data quality standards, and tools that empower the Product team to leverage data, extract insights, and inform roadmap decisions.
• Assess and optimize the Product tool stack — including Notion, Jira, the AI builder layer (Cursor, Claude Code, n8n, Gumloop, Notion AI), and future tools.
• Promote and empower: Mentor PMs on new tools and workflows, document institutional knowledge, and elevate the standards for effective Product work at Pliant.
• Maintain close connections with related functions — Engineering, Design, Commercial, Support, etc. — to ensure seamless integration of the Product OS with their operations.
• Influence the evolution of Product Operations at Pliant as the function expands.
• 3–5+ years of experience in Product Operations, Product Management, Strategy & Operations, Technical Program Management, or a related field — preferably within a rapidly growing B2B SaaS or platform business.
• Proficient hands-on AI power-user, with daily experience in contemporary AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Notion AI, etc.). Preferred: experience in building with these tools — including prompting, evaluations, low-code/no-code workflows (n8n, Gumloop, Make), light scripting, and API integrations.
• A systems thinker capable of designing scalable operating models without introducing unnecessary bureaucracy. You recognize when to formalize processes and when to maintain simplicity.
• Strong product instincts and empathy for PMs. You have collaborated closely with Product teams and understand what facilitates progress versus what obstructs it.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and constructing from scratch. Willing to function as a solo contributor initially and manage outcomes holistically.
• Excellent written communicator. Your writing contributes to enhancing overall standards.
• Interested in understanding Pliant’s context as a B2B platform business. Direct fintech experience is not mandatory.
• Fluent in English; based in Berlin preferred, with remote work options available within the EU.
• A dynamic, product-focused organization with substantial growth potential.
• An international, flat, and collaborative team culture.
• Competitive salary and equity package.
• Flexible work arrangements (remote, hybrid, or in the Berlin office).
• Attractive perks including a monthly mobility allowance, Wellhub membership, and a company card with a lunch/coffee budget.
