This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hawaii, +6 more states.
• Responsible for developing and implementing the strategy for how we market our products and convey our value to customers.
• Guides the positioning and go-to-market strategies across Shippo's platform.
• Acts as a vital strategic partner to Product, Sales, and GTM Marketing—facilitating alignment among teams and shaping market perceptions of Shippo.
• Achieves significant business results—from product adoption and pipeline contributions to competitive differentiation and market visibility.
• Works collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure that new features yield measurable customer and business results.
• Establishes and monitors success metrics for product marketing initiatives, leveraging adoption, engagement, and pipeline data to pinpoint opportunities and refine strategy.
• Contributes to building the PMM function from scratch: creates launch playbooks, research cadences, and enablement frameworks that can scale as the team expands.
• 6–8+ years of experience in product marketing within B2B SaaS or a closely related complex-operations B2B sector.
• A proven history of independently managing and executing go-to-market strategies for intricate, multi-audience products.
• Extensive experience in leading product launches and GTM initiatives from start to finish, with a proven impact on adoption, pipeline, or revenue results.
• Experience in conducting customer research programs, competitive intelligence initiatives, and translating market insights into strategic product positioning and direction.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the capability to craft executive-level narratives, market presentations, and materials for cross-functional alignment.
• Strong leadership skills across functions, demonstrating the ability to influence without direct authority among Product, Growth, Sales, and senior stakeholders.
• Proven ability to drive product adoption, activation, and feature utilization at a strategic level—not just through isolated campaigns but through cohesive, insight-driven programs.
• Comfortable working with a high degree of autonomy in a dynamic, fast-growing environment with multiple audiences and product surfaces.
• Experience in marketing AI, automation, or agentic products is highly preferred.
• Experience in marketing developer or API products is a significant advantage. Bonus points for direct experience in e-commerce, logistics, or shipping technology.
