This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia, +1 more country.
• Develop and assess corporate short- and long-term plans, objectives, and goals for a particular product or product line.
• Perform competitive product evaluations and conduct market research on consumer behavior as well as professional audiences.
• Analyze the profitability and feasibility of new products or enhancements to existing products.
• Create production and marketing strategies and tactics to ensure effective product placement throughout the product life cycle.
• Collaborate closely with product development teams on a designated product, brand, or product category.
• Work alongside different departments to finalize product specifications.
• Provide advertising that aligns with core brand equity.
• Act as a technical advisor, showcasing products and addressing product-related issues.
• Oversee a sizable team of skilled professionals and managers.
• Formulate, communicate, and execute business plans aimed at achieving business objectives.
• Launch initiatives or projects based on business and tactical requirements.
• Manage the budget or P&L responsibilities for a specific department, function, or geographical area.
• Engage with internal and external customers as well as vendors.
• Influence various functions and business units to foster cooperation.
• Mentor, nurture, and coach team members.
• Set performance benchmarks, carry out performance evaluations, and conduct one-on-one meetings with staff.
• Approve hiring, termination, promotions, and rewards within the designated area.
• Bachelor's degree with at least 7 years of relevant experience, including 5+ years in a managerial role, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience and 5+ years of managerial experience.
• For degrees obtained outside the United States, the degree must meet the criteria of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A).
• Extensive management knowledge to lead project teams within one department.
• Advanced knowledge and expertise in a specific technical or professional field.
• Comprehensive understanding of other areas within the job function.
• Experience in the sales of capital equipment or the management of this portfolio.
• Unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and for the duration of employment for positions below the Principal level.
• Experience in the Orthopedic portfolio is a plus.
