This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.
• Take charge of the Workforce Intelligence strategy and roadmap, focusing on activation, adoption, retention, and revenue.
• Conduct ongoing discovery sessions with CTOs, VPs of Engineering, engineering managers, and design partners.
• Transform ambiguous customer issues into testable hypotheses.
• Quickly prototype, conduct experiments utilizing real customer data, and cease projects that do not warrant further investment.
• Provide reliable attribution and reporting regarding AI activities and costs at the work-item level, contributing to executive narratives.
• Formulate Tempo’s perspective on agent oversight and governance.
• Establish tool and model benchmarking based on the performance of customers’ teams and workflows.
• Develop connector and data strategies across AI providers, developer environments, source control, work management, collaboration tools, and Tempo products.
• Collaborate with Product Managers for Timesheets, Capacity Planner, and Financial Manager.
• Engage with sales, marketing, and customer success teams on positioning, pricing, packaging, launches, enablement, adoption, and expansion.
• Define instrumentation and operational metrics.
• Evaluate evidence and balance trade-offs among customer value, technical feasibility, trust, and commercial impact.
• Represent Workforce Intelligence in interactions with customers, partners, Atlassian, and senior leaders.
• Collaborate directly with engineering and design from the problem definition phase through to feature delivery.
• A minimum of 5 years of product management experience.
• Comprehensive ownership of a B2B SaaS or data product aimed at a technical audience.
• Proven track record of enhancing adoption, retention, expansion, or revenue.
• Experience guiding a product or significant product area from discovery to launch and growth.
• Familiarity with collaborating alongside go-to-market teams, engineering, and design.
• Strong decision-making abilities in an uncertain market.
• Advanced customer discovery competencies through interviews, usage data, prototypes, and live product testing.
• Experience in designing tests capable of disproving a product hypothesis.
• Comfort with working with incomplete or inferred data.
• Background in developing developer tools, engineering intelligence, data and analytics products, AI governance products, or other complex enterprise products.
• Working knowledge of software delivery processes, including Jira work items, source control, pull requests, engineering performance metrics, and AI tools and agents.
• Proficiency in data fluency regarding attribution models, instrumentation, benchmarks, and reporting methodologies.
• Familiarity with the Atlassian ecosystem or similar platform and marketplace businesses is highly advantageous.
• Hands-on experience with modern AI tools.
• Understanding of model evaluation, agent behavior, privacy, governance, costs, and evolving vendor capabilities.
• Capability to define reliable measures for human and AI-assisted work.
• Ability to bring together engineering, design, sales, marketing, customer success, finance, and executives around common goals.
• Strong writing and presentation skills that are clear and concise.
• Credibility with senior technical stakeholders.
