This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with the Strategy team to convert emerging business concepts into testable hypotheses.
• Identify the most critical assumptions, validation criteria, and evidence required prior to initiating work.
• Execute targeted validation sprints in partnership with a design collaborator.
• Define the scope of sprints precisely and choose the quickest viable route to a solution.
• Assess opportunities and develop potential business models.
• Evaluate competitive and market conditions while determining commercial feasibility.
• Conduct surveys, interviews, ethnographic research on-site, demand tests, and create market prototypes with customers.
• Integrate customer insights and business analysis into go/no-go recommendations for leadership.
• Prepare validated opportunities for transition to product teams.
• Contribute to the development of the Studio playbook, sprint cadence, decision-making framework, and confidence standards.
• Utilize AI tools for research synthesis, analysis, and prototyping.
• Work in conjunction with User Research, Strategy, Data & Analytics, Product, Engineering, and other stakeholders.
• Report directly to the Senior Vice President of Product.
• Over 5 years of experience in managing technology products.
• Experience focused on mobile or consumer products.
• Ideally includes 0-to-1 experience such as early-stage startups, product incubation, or founding a company.
• Possess a strategic, business-oriented mindset.
• Capability to evaluate markets and develop lightweight business cases.
• Entrepreneurial, self-driven, and capable of independent execution.
• Comfortable working with high levels of autonomy and uncertainty.
• Experience in data-informed decision-making and independent analysis of opportunities and experiments.
• Proficient in planning, recruiting for, and conducting customer interviews and lightweight research.
• Excellent skills in executive communication, narrative synthesis, recommendations, and trade-off articulation.
• Ability to build relationships and influence at various organizational levels.
• Demonstrates intellectual honesty and is willing to recommend discontinuing an initiative if necessary.
• Proficient with or eager to master AI tools for research, analysis, and rapid prototyping.
• Knowledge of or passion for sports and sports communities.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must reside in the United States; hiring is not available in AK, DE, HI, IA, LA, MS, MT, OK, and SC.
