Senior Product Manager, Studio

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the vision, roadmap, and implementation for the authoring workflow of Studio.

• Lead the 2D and 3D editing processes across plans, elevations, and option management at a catalog scale.

• Facilitate discovery sessions with drafters and internal teams utilizing Studio on a daily basis.

• Collaborate with Studio Engineering and Building Generation regarding the API connecting the building model with Studio’s interaction and rendering systems.

• Establish quality benchmarks for interaction latency, geometric accuracy, and undo functionality.

• Manage metrics such as activation, time-to-first-plan, authoring throughput, plan reuse, and model accuracy.

• Provide strategic direction for integrating Studio with estimating, purchasing, and sales roles while preserving the drafter workflow.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of product management experience with contemporary software products.

• Proven history of delivering complex, interactive applications with measurable outcomes, particularly in authoring tools, editors, or design software.

• Technical proficiency, including the ability to read architectural plans, understand data models, and navigate trade-offs with engineering teams.

• Ability to differentiate between trust-impairing defects and cosmetic issues.

• Experience in prototyping using tools like Cursor, Replit, or v0.dev.

• Strong communication skills across engineering, design, and business sectors.

• Familiarity with CAD or BIM systems such as Revit, Rhino, or SketchUp, as well as browser 3D tools like Three.js or WebGL.

• Professional experience in residential construction, homebuilding, or architecture is highly advantageous.

• Experience in deploying AI-assisted features within an authoring tool is a significant plus.
