
Senior Product Manager – Payment Disputes

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +9 more states.
• Take ownership of and manage the strategic roadmap for FINBOA’s Payment Disputes portfolio.
• Convert customer, regulatory, and business requirements into Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), epics, user stories, and precise acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with Engineering to manage and prioritize the product backlog.
• Conduct discovery sessions with customers, prospects, and internal stakeholders to uncover unmet needs and market opportunities.
• Keep track of developments related to card disputes and chargebacks, including Regulation E and Regulation Z, and convert them into product specifications.
• Define and monitor metrics related to product adoption, utilization, retention, and customer satisfaction.
• Lead customer advisory sessions, beta programs, and structured initiatives for product feedback.
• Collaborate with Product Marketing on aspects such as positioning, pricing insights, messaging, and launch planning.
• Work with Client Experience and Support to resolve recurring customer issues through product enhancements.
• Create business cases for new products and significant enhancements.
• Assist in strategic sales opportunities, demonstrations, and responses to RFPs.
• Validate the functionality delivered and support acceptance testing and readiness for release.
• Provide a clear, customer-informed roadmap that enhances the Payment Disputes portfolio and yields measurable business results.
• A minimum of eight years of product management experience in SaaS, fintech, banking technology, payments, fraud, or a related sector.
• Proven track record of owning strategic product roadmaps and guiding initiatives from concept to launch.
• Extensive experience in developing business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Strong grasp of Agile methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps, or Confluence.
• Preferred experience with disputes, chargebacks, fraud, card operations, Regulation E, Regulation Z, or financial operations workflows.
• Preferred experience supporting banks, credit unions, community financial institutions, or fintech providers.
• Experience with workflow automation or product commercialization is an advantage.
• Must reside in Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, North Carolina, New York, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, or Texas.
• Typical business hours are Monday through Friday.
