This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take charge of the complete development process for new savings and annuity products, from initial concept through to build, launch, and post-launch refinement.
• Direct the vision and roadmap for new products, prioritizing initiatives based on business potential, customer insights, and effort required.
• Interact with customers to gain insights into their needs, challenges, and trust factors.
• Perform competitive product analysis to pinpoint gaps and opportunities in the market.
• Convert research findings and analyses into innovative product concepts.
• Work closely with design and engineering teams on rapid prototyping and iterative cycles.
• Evaluate product concepts, features, and pricing frameworks prior to full-scale launch.
• Establish product metrics, instrumentation, and reporting standards.
• Collaborate with Operations, Legal, Marketing, and Compliance to create straightforward, transparent, and compliant products.
• Act as the subject matter expert and primary point of contact for inquiries, feedback, and requests regarding new products.
• Draft Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) and specifications that cover problem statements, hypotheses, success metrics, and rollout strategies.
• Utilize AI tools to enhance research, conceptual iteration, and content creation while ensuring data quality and adherence to regulatory standards.
• Partner with Marketing on product launches, positioning strategies, and lifecycle programs that promote product uptake.
• Over 6 years of experience in product management.
• Proven history of bringing new products from concept to market; experience with 0-to-1 product development is highly preferred.
• Proficient in data-driven decision-making utilizing customer research, market analysis, pilot outcomes, and cohort studies.
• Capability to streamline risk assessments, regulations, and eligibility criteria into user-friendly product experiences without compromising compliance or customer trust.
• Skillful in balancing trade-offs related to speed to market, customer experience, compliance, and long-term brand value.
• Excellent communication abilities with stakeholders across Marketing, Engineering, Design, Operations, Legal, and Executive teams.
• Demonstrated ownership mentality with the ability to independently formulate strategy, execute plans, and adapt swiftly.
• Experience in go-to-market strategies in collaboration with Marketing for launches, positioning, and lifecycle initiatives.
• Regular engagement with AI tools for research, ideation, and execution in a regulated environment.
• Preferred background in Fintech or Insurtech, especially with launching financial or insurance-related products.
• Experience in a startup or high-growth context, particularly within 0-to-1 product scenarios, is preferred.
• Background in engineering, design, or data science is preferred.
• Familiarity with defining and utilizing AI/ML for new product applications is preferred.
