Senior Product Manager, Machine Identity

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Define and manage the customer-facing roadmap for the Machine Identity product area, collaborating closely with engineering and design leaders.

• Take ownership of OKRs for your domain with well-defined success metrics, driving quarterly planning cycles from start to finish.

• Draft and refine PRDs, PRFAQs, and other product specifications to align engineering, design, and cross-functional stakeholders.

• Prioritize initiatives on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis, ensuring the team remains focused on the most impactful work.

• Incorporate the customer perspective into product decisions through research, direct engagement, and structured feedback mechanisms.

• Contribute to the overarching vision and execution strategy for Machine Identity and the wider Unified Access platform.

• Assist in executive-level discussions with customers and prospects regarding Unified Access, in partnership with PMM and senior PM colleagues.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in a product management position, with a proven history of owning features or product areas from inception to completion.

• Practical experience in writing PRDs, PRFAQs, or similar product specifications.

• Strong customer empathy, evidenced by the ability to collect feedback, recognize patterns, and translate customer needs into clear, prioritized requirements.

• Comfort in a high-growth, rapidly changing environment where priorities shift and clarity must be established, not merely accepted.

• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, design, and go-to-market teams.

• Familiarity with developer tools, enterprise SaaS, or security products (bonus points).

• Experience using AI engineering tools for personal projects (bonus points).

• Background in identity management, secrets management, or infrastructure security (bonus points).
