This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.
• Assists Primary Sales / Operations in managing customs brokerage customer accounts, focusing on revenue retention and minimizing churn to sustain revenue levels.
• Offers expertise in customs brokerage products and contributes to solution development, contract negotiations, statements of work, and pricing agreements to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
• Engages in customer meetings and quarterly business reviews to offer leadership and strategic insights regarding the impact of customs brokerage on long-term partnerships.
• Ensures effective management of standard operating procedures and key performance indicators to align with UPS objectives and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Provides guidance to customers on opportunities for supply chain improvements and collaborates with other teams to create solutions that strengthen the UPS value-added proposition.
• Supports colleagues to ensure UPS meets client customs brokerage performance expectations while reducing negative impacts on other departments.
• Collects and disseminates best practices for customs brokerage customer service.
• Evaluates customs brokerage service standards with customers to establish agreement on service levels, promoting business retention and organic growth.
• Delivers outstanding customs brokerage service to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Coordinates with other teams to facilitate business and customer review meetings.
• Bachelor’s Degree or an international equivalent in Business or Transportation - Preferred.
• Knowledge of Customs Brokerage Products.
• Eagerness to Learn.
• Licensed Customs Broker.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.
• Remote position, with a preference for candidates based in Kansas City, Chicago, Denver, or Seattle.
