This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Establish business and customer priorities for the Censys Internet Map.
• Specify comprehensive engineering requirements and acceptance criteria for IPv4/IPv6 scan parameters, including ports, protocols, DNS resolution, certificate discovery, and host discovery.
• Monitor coverage against baselines to detect and address gaps.
• Determine enrichment priorities, encompassing technology fingerprinting, risk scoring, and third-party data integrations.
• Assess external data sources for accuracy, coverage, and cost-effectiveness.
• Specify data and enrichment quality metrics and schemas.
• Create documentation for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Facilitate cross-functional data prioritization across the Censys product suite.
• Provide insights on business priorities to influence sequencing protocols and enrichments.
• Collaborate with Engineering on scanning infrastructure, data pipelines, and enrichment systems.
• Keep the Product and go-to-market teams updated through regular updates, enablement sessions, and technical documentation.
• Over 5 years of product management experience in comprehensive data platforms, cybersecurity, or intelligence products.
• More than 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with in-depth expertise in products related to the IP, DNS, and routing domains.
• Sufficient technical fluency in data systems, distributed infrastructure, or large-scale scanning to formulate requirements.
• Proven ability to write detailed technical requirements and acceptance criteria that engineers can effectively utilize.
• Experience in defining data schemas and quality metrics, as well as creating documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proven experience managing a delivery cadence (sprint planning, backlog grooming, status reporting) within a dynamic engineering organization.
• Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders without formal authority over their priorities.
• A sense of curiosity, eagerness to learn, and sound judgment in the application of AI.
