This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Serve as the individual contributor for the product within the Measurement (Attribution) team.
• Focus on framing problems and exploring options rather than directing others.
• Convert insights from domain experts, facilitate discussions, gather sales feedback, conduct research, and handle merchant calls into defined problem statements and areas of opportunity.
• Collaborate with data science and engineering teams to grasp Attribution across various merchants and channels.
• Identify potential errors and inaccuracies.
• Outline trade-offs, risks, and constraints to inform team decision-making.
• Ensure team initiatives align with Klar’s strategic goals.
• Maintain a straightforward roadmap, a clear backlog, and well-defined work items.
• Record decisions and insights in concise documents, decision records, and Linear issues.
• Disseminate Attribution insights across Klar to ensure alignment of strategy, sales, marketing, and support expectations with product functionality.
• Approximately 5 or more years of experience in product management, marketing technology, marketing analytics, performance marketing, data products, or a similar product-focused individual contributor role.
• Significant fluency in marketing measurement or attribution practices.
• Proficient with attribution models, tracking pixels, session stitching, lookback windows, marketing mix modeling, incrementality, and geo-level testing.
• Comfortable working without formal authority.
• Experience in small, stable teams that manage a clear domain from start to finish.
• A strong commitment to data quality and reliability.
• Naturally inquisitive, able to delve deeply into new topics.
• Capable of simplifying complex or technical subjects into easy-to-understand explanations and processes.
• Comfortable with remote, flexible work arrangements, written communication, and both synchronous and asynchronous collaboration.
• Prior experience with direct-to-consumer eCommerce brands that are similar in size to Klar’s core customers is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Prior familiarity with marketing attribution tools or data pipelines is beneficial but not required.
• Exposure to data science and research-driven product development would be beneficial but is not essential.
• Familiarity with various measurement methodologies and their respective trade-offs would be helpful but is not necessary.
• A working knowledge of CAC, ROAS, CLV, and contribution margins would be advantageous but is not required.
• Comfort with reading and writing SQL, as well as using analytics or business intelligence tools, would be helpful but is not required.
• Awareness of GDPR, browser tracking limitations, and the differences between first-party and third-party scripts would be beneficial but is not essential.
