This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.
• Lead and nurture a product team consisting of four direct reports: three Senior Technical Program Managers (TPMs) and one Design Lead.
• Establish objectives, conduct one-on-one meetings, offer craft feedback, and foster the development of direct reports.
• Create operating norms, rituals, discovery rhythms, documentation standards, and craft expectations.
• Act as the escalation point for stakeholder, scope, and resource conflicts.
• Assume ownership of an integrated roadmap that spans all product domains.
• Convert roadmap commitments into engineering, data, and design capacity plans.
• Collaborate with the VP of Engineering and the VP of Machine Learning & Artificial Intelligence on the feasibility of the roadmap.
• Reassess and reorder priorities in response to contracts, compliance deadlines, and shifting priorities.
• Conduct monthly stage gates, cross-functional go-to-market (GTM) and customer success (CS) syncs, and quarterly planning sessions.
• Manage the architecture of product meetings and represent the Product team in company-wide and board-level updates.
• Oversee the definitions of product metrics, their instrumentation, dashboards, and review cadence.
• Aggregate domain metrics into a company-level perspective linked to lifetime wages over cost to serve.
• Maintain product operations tools, templates, and processes.
• Keep product strategy documents, OKRs, and EOS-style artifacts up to date.
• Facilitate quarterly OKR refinement and ensure alignment of domain objectives with company strategy.
• Monitor workforce technology and the competitive landscape for AI-native solutions.
• Convert competitive intelligence into actionable roadmap and positioning strategies.
• Brief Sales, Customer Success, and leadership teams prior to competitive deals or requests for proposals (RFPs).
• Manage product relationships with engineering, data, GTM, CS, state agencies, and workforce intermediaries.
• Keep the Chief Product Officer (CPO) and executive team updated on product progress and priorities.
• Proven experience in managing Product Managers, Technical Program Managers, or designers directly.
• Experience in owning a company-level product roadmap.
• Ability to reconcile roadmaps with engineering and data capacity.
• Experience in conducting recurring cross-functional planning, stage gates, executive updates, and board presentations.
• Strong fluency in metrics, including defining a metrics stack and establishing a review cadence.
• Experience in translating strategy into OKRs, strategy presentations, and roadmaps.
• Demonstrated capability in stakeholder management across engineering, GTM/CS, and ideally enterprise or government clients.
• Preferred experience in B2B SaaS, government technology, or workforce technology.
• Strong advantage for experience with multi-stakeholder platforms.
• Legally authorized to work in Canada or the United States.
• Availability to work during Eastern Standard Time (EST) or Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) business hours.
• Willingness to undergo a background check if necessary.
• Open to occasional travel for off-site meetings, conferences, and team gatherings.
