
Senior Product Manager II β Vendor Spend

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.
β’ Take ownership of the roadmap and vision for Vendor Spend.
β’ Establish success metrics that encompass adoption, cost reduction, fraud reduction, and revenue indicators.
β’ Enhance and simplify vendor payments through ACH, checks, direct-to-bank processing, card payments, and international transactions.
β’ Spearhead the 0β1 expense-management initiative involving company-issued spend/purchasing cards and virtual AP cards.
β’ Define processes for card issuance, controls, and accounting flows related to card expenditures.
β’ Champion payment accuracy, compliance, fraud protection, positive pay, check-fraud prevention, ACH screening, AML controls, and 1099 reporting.
β’ Collaborate with the banking infrastructure team on payment rails and service boundaries.
β’ Work alongside Accounting to ensure precise ledger entries and reconciliation.
β’ Assess and prioritize requests from Product, Client Operations, Sales, Finance, Risk, Legal, and Support.
β’ Utilize AI tools on a daily basis for discovery, analysis, writing, code comprehension, and prototyping.
β’ Collaborate with an engineering team and designer within the AP & Payments group.
β’ Minimum of 5 years of product management experience in a SaaS, fintech, or similarly intricate technical environment.
β’ Proven track record of delivering measurable outcomes, including adoption, market or segment access, cost or fraud reduction, or revenue impact.
β’ Strong domain knowledge related to money movement; experience in accounts payable, vendor/B2B payments, card issuance, or accounting is highly preferred.
β’ Technical proficiency with systems, data models, integrations, fund flows, and potential failure modes.
β’ Regular, active use of AI tools, such as LLMs, AI-assisted coding tools, and AI workflows.
β’ Experience managing products with significant cross-functional exposure.
β’ Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
β’ Ability to navigate ambiguity and technically complex fields.
β’ Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
β’ Proficiency in data self-sufficiency using tools like SQL, Pendo, Omni, or Snowflake.
β’ A growth mindset with a strong sense of empathy for customers and operators.
β’ Hands-on experience in AP/vendor payments, B2B money movement, or card issuance is an added advantage.
β’ Familiarity with payment rails such as ACH/NACHA, checks, positive pay, direct-to-bank, and processor integrations like Stripe is a plus.
β’ Experience in establishing new payment or card capabilities is an additional asset.
β’ Knowledge of fraud/AML controls, transaction screening, or 1099 tax reporting is considered a plus.
β’ Experience in a scale-up environment at a high-growth SaaS company is a bonus.
β’ Must be legally authorized to work in Canada or the United States.
β’ Must provide or secure a work permit if sponsorship is necessary.
