
Senior Product Manager, DMS Data & Reporting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take full ownership of DMS Data & Reporting capabilities from initial discovery to final delivery.
• Act as the primary product advocate for the DMS reporting experience within Cox.
• Collaborate with product leaders across Accounting, Fixed Ops, F&I, Sales, and enterprise data teams.
• Conduct regular dealer research and site visits involving controllers, GMs, and operations personnel.
• Establish and uphold a reporting maturity roadmap.
• Develop and manage Epic, Feature, and Story backlogs.
• Partner with engineering and data platform teams to refine project scope and address dependencies.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Architecture, Data Governance, and Go-to-Market teams on product releases.
• Utilize product metrics, usage data, and qualitative insights to assess reporting features.
• Contribute to investment cases and inputs for the roadmap focused on dealer outcomes.
• Gain an understanding of the competitive landscape in DMS reporting and embedded analytics.
• A minimum of 3 years of product management experience overseeing features or workflows within a B2B or enterprise software product.
• Some familiarity with data, analytics, or reporting products is preferred.
• Experience in Agile or SAFe delivery methodologies.
• Proficient in tools like Rally or Jira.
• Strong skills in Market & Client Research, Product Strategy, Product Development, In-Market Product Performance Management, Professional Essentials, and Technology Savvy.
• Capability to conduct dealer site visits and interviews, synthesizing findings into discovery documentation.
• Proficient in creating and maintaining Epic-, Feature-, and Story-level backlogs with clear scope and acceptance criteria.
• Ability to track and analyze product metrics and usage data.
• Foundational knowledge of data concepts including schema design, data pipelines, and query performance.
• Familiarity with dealership operations, automotive retail workflows, or DMS software such as CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, or Tekion.
• Understanding of dealership reporting needs in accounting, fixed ops, F&I, or sales.
• Experience managing products through platform migration or modernization involving legacy reporting replacement or data platform transitions.
• Experience in owning or contributing to embedded analytics, self-service reporting, or data visualization products.
• Familiar with Logi Analytics, Tableau, Looker, or similar tools.
• Understanding of data warehousing, data governance, dimensional modeling, or multi-tenant data delivery.
• Working knowledge of master data management principles.
• Comfortable writing or interpreting SQL queries.
• Experience in a scaled product organization managing shared data platform dependencies and cross-team collaboration.
• Familiarity with Context Engineering.
• Familiarity with AI-Native Product Building and responsible AI integration.
