This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with leadership to establish and implement product strategy that aligns with both short-term and long-term business goals.
• Take ownership of the product roadmap, prioritizing it by balancing organizational objectives, client requirements, competitive insights, and development schedules.
• Facilitate cross-functional teamwork across various departments including Product, Technology, Operations, Sales, Service, Marketing, Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Product Deployment.
• Articulate product vision, business requirements, epics, features, and development scope.
• Manage the complete product lifecycle from the initial concept through to launch and continuous improvement.
• Set and track KPIs, assess product performance, and propose enhancements.
• Create go-to-market strategies, launch plans, client communications, sales materials, RFP content, and product documentation.
• Ensure all products adhere to relevant regulatory, legal, compliance, and risk standards.
• Examine market trends, competitive offerings, and client feedback to pinpoint enhancements and new opportunities.
• Foster product adoption and maximize client value and business impact in collaboration with Sales, Service, and Product Deployment teams.
• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Over 7 years of experience in product management, product development, or a related field within the financial services sector.
• Proven expertise in product strategy, roadmap development, and product lifecycle management.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical abilities, problem-solving skills, and strategic thinking capabilities.
• Experience in working with cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment.
• Knowledge and experience in supporting digital communication channels and digital product functionalities.
• FINRA fingerprinting will be required upon hire.
• Familiarity with defined contribution retirement products is essential.
• Direct experience with Multiple Employer Plans (MEPs), Pooled Employer Plans (PEPs), and Professional Employer Organization (PEO) partnerships.
• Proven track record in managing strategic product initiatives and cross-functional projects.
• Experience in managing vendor and partner relationships.
• Background in Agile, Scrum, or similar methodologies for product development.
• Proficient in Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or Aha!
• Strong understanding of the retirement marketplace.
