This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Advocate for Iterative Value: Collaborate closely with data engineers and stakeholders to prioritize, define, and deliver significant data and analytics outcomes through agile, results-driven methodologies.
• Lead Exploration: Frequently interact with a wide range of stakeholders (both internal and external) to identify, clarify, and prioritize their data requirements.
• Develop Requirements: Convert business inquiries and stakeholder expectations into clear, actionable specifications and well-defined deliverables (analytics, metrics, dashboards, pipelines).
• Propel Execution: Partner with data and engineering teams to create, launch, and enhance analytics deliverables in short, adaptive cycles.
• Achieve Outcomes: Manage conflicting priorities, establish expectations, communicate progress, and iterate swiftly based on feedback and changing requirements.
• Assess Impact: Create, research, and define the metrics and formulas that enable Heartbeat and its partners to evaluate success—clinical, operational, financial, and more.
• Active Participation: Get hands-on with SQL to design dashboards, troubleshoot data pipelines, and ensure analytic integrity.
• Oversee & React: Assist in monitoring critical data pipelines, respond promptly to disruptions, and maintain data quality, reliability, and trust.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; additional experience may be accepted in place of a degree.
• Over 5 years of experience in product management, analytics, or data-centric roles (healthcare experience is a plus).
• Demonstrated success in delivering data products or analytics in a dynamic, agile environment.
• Proficient (intermediate+) in SQL and analytical skills; comfortable with detailed analysis.
• Experience in gathering requirements, drafting problem statements, and formulating testable acceptance criteria.
• A strong passion for iteratively addressing real-world challenges, rather than merely developing features or completing "projects".
• Familiarity with relational databases, data pipeline tools, and dashboarding platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Looker, Sigma, Tableau, Power BI).
• Proficient in Python (pandas) for data analysis.
