Senior Product Manager – Create & Design

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the Create & Design roadmap and product strategy, ensuring alignment with the overarching Data Capture vision.

• Transform the builder into the premier platform for crafting beautiful and engaging experiences.

• Develop shared capabilities that facilitate creation across existing and future interfaces.

• Collaborate with Typeform AI to integrate AI-assisted design, content generation, translation, and creation workflows into the builder.

• Articulate how AI can enhance creators' output while preserving a high-quality, human-centric experience.

• Oversee intricate platform investments and technical migrations in conjunction with customer-facing product development.

• Work closely with engineering and design teams to harmonize product craftsmanship with technical complexity.

• Define the long-term vision for creation at Typeform and align investments with that strategy.

• Keep abreast of innovations in AI, design tools, creator platforms, and contemporary productivity software to uncover new opportunities.

• Collaborate across various functions including engineering, design, research, marketing, customer success, and commercial teams.

• Utilize AI tools to enhance discovery, analysis, prototyping, documentation, and decision-making processes.

• Proven experience in developing creation tools, editors, design products, or other customer-facing platforms.

• Strong platform-oriented thinking and experience in identifying shared capabilities that can scale across multiple products or surfaces.

• A deep appreciation for product craftsmanship and user experience, with the ability to balance speed and quality.

• An AI-native mindset, actively building with LLMs and AI tools, viewing AI as a transformative factor in product development and user experience.

• Experience collaborating closely with engineering on technically intricate products, migrations, or platform investments.

• Comfortable discussing trade-offs related to performance, reliability, scalability, and technical architecture.

• A customer-centric mindset with strong discovery abilities and data-informed decision-making skills.

• Excellent storytelling and communication skills that help unify teams around a clear vision.

• A collaborative leadership style focused on influence rather than authority.

• High agency, capable of creating clarity in ambiguous problem spaces.

• Strong product craftsmanship, including writing specifications, defining success metrics, and driving execution across multiple teams.

• Experience working effectively with distributed teams.
