This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Take ownership of PAQATO's product strategy, vision, and roadmap, ensuring that product decisions align with company objectives.
• Prioritize the delivery backlog and make informed trade-off choices among customer requirements, technical efforts, economic viability, and strategic significance.
• Engage in customer discussions, conduct discovery interviews, and perform requirements analysis.
• Convert requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and actionable tasks for the development team.
• Act as the primary liaison for development inquiries and evaluate technical and functional feasibility alongside the Tech Lead and UX.
• Guide features from their initial conception through implementation, testing, QA, acceptance, and release phases.
• Coordinate go-to-market strategies and launch communications in collaboration with Customer Success and Marketing teams.
• Create or manage release notes, product documentation, and customer-facing communications regarding products.
• Analyze market trends, competition, and customer feedback to uncover product development opportunities.
• Work closely with executive management, Tech, UX, Customer Success, Sales, and Marketing teams.
• Ensure clarity regarding priorities, progress, and decision-making processes.
• Utilize modern tools, AI applications, and automation to enhance the efficiency, structure, and effectiveness of product work.
• Completed university studies in business informatics, computer science, business administration, or a related field.
• Several years of experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner, preferably in a B2B SaaS context.
• Experience in strategic product oversight, roadmap development, and market positioning.
• Competence in backlog management, prioritization, and crafting user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Strong technical understanding of web applications, APIs, and data models.
• Willingness to test, critically evaluate, and formally accept features.
• Organized, independent, solution-focused, and hands-on approach to work.
• Ability to confidently lead meetings, engage stakeholders, moderate discussions, and foster collaboration.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies such as Kanban or Scrum.
• Experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, Notion, or similar systems.
• Enjoyment in conducting customer discussions and deriving product enhancements from user feedback.
• Confident use of LLM tools, AI applications, and workflow automation, or a strong interest in actively utilizing them.
• Proficient in German at a negotiation level and good command of English.
• Nice to have: experience in e-commerce, shipping, post-purchase communication, or logistics.
• Nice to have: familiarity with product metrics and collaboration with Data Analytics teams.
• Nice to have: experience with mockups or prototypes, such as in Figma or AI-assisted tools.
• Nice to have: knowledge of information security, data protection, or ISMS topics.
• Nice to have: basic understanding of GitHub or technical product workflows.
• Nice to have: experience in creating product videos, help documentation, or release communications.
• Nice to have: experience mentoring working students or junior team members.
