Senior Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the product backlog, ensuring tasks are well-defined, prioritized, and aligned with business objectives.

• Convert business requirements and stakeholder requests into organized specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

• Collaborate with engineering and design teams to ensure a clear understanding of requirements and deliver high-quality results.

• Lead sprint planning, backlog refinement, and daily delivery execution.

• Identify and manage dependencies, risks, and changes in scope throughout the delivery process.

• Leverage data, user feedback, and team insights to enhance the product continuously.

• Utilize AI tools like Claude to streamline documentation, research, and analysis.

• Establish and nurture strong relationships with client stakeholders.

• Communicate updates, risks, and trade-offs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Facilitate working sessions, requirements discussions, and decision-making meetings.

• Take responsibility for delivery outcomes and frame requests around user and business objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in product management or product ownership.

• Background in Higher Education, including experience with Colleague ERP, SIS, and LMS platforms.

• Strong grasp of agile delivery methodologies and the responsibilities of product ownership.

• Experience in creating requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for cross-functional teams.

• Proven experience working directly with clients or external stakeholders.

• Excellent communication skills for engaging with both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Analytical skills for decision-making using data and user insights.

• Proficient in Jira, Confluence, and Miro.

• Demonstrated experience using AI tools like Claude for documentation, research, and analysis.

• Prior experience in a consulting or agency setting is advantageous.

• Interest in prototyping with tools such as Claude, Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot.

• Familiarity with process-mapping or documentation tools.

• Working knowledge of GenAI fundamentals, including LLMs and prompt engineering.

• Exposure to AI-driven products.

• In-depth knowledge in one or more of the specified industries.
