Senior Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the strategy, roadmap, and implementation for a key product area.

• Discover customer challenges through interviews, workflow assessments, product analytics, and market analysis.

• Convert customer requirements into product strategies and prioritized roadmaps.

• Establish product success metrics and leverage data to enhance customer outcomes continuously.

• Weigh customer value, technical complexity, and business priorities when making product-related decisions.

• Craft intelligent product experiences utilizing structured data, large language models, retrieval systems, and automation to streamline customer workflows.

• Collaborate with Data Science and Engineering to outline AI capabilities such as: Large Language Models, Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), AI agents, Workflow automation, Prompt orchestration, and Structured content generation.

• Specify product requirements for AI capabilities, including evaluation criteria, quality metrics, confidence thresholds, and customer feedback mechanisms.

• Ensure transparency and explainability of AI-generated outputs, aligning them with customer expectations and regulatory standards.

• Acquire a thorough understanding of clinical development workflows and customer challenges.

• Map out comprehensive customer journeys and identify areas to simplify intricate workflows.

• Validate concepts through customer interviews, usability testing, and prototype assessments.

• Collaborate with customers throughout the product development process to guarantee solutions address real issues.

• Work closely with Engineering, Design, and Data Science during the entire product development lifecycle.

• Oversee product planning, backlog prioritization, release planning, and customer adoption initiatives.

• Clearly articulate priorities, trade-offs, and progress to executives and cross-functional stakeholders.

• Ensure product releases provide measurable value to customers and the business.

• Define and track key performance indicators such as adoption, engagement, customer satisfaction, workflow efficiency, and AI quality.

• Employ experimentation and product analytics to enhance product performance.

• Develop evaluation frameworks that assess both product quality and customer impact.

• Mentor Associate Product Managers and contribute to the advancement of product management best practices.

• Promote robust collaboration across Engineering, Design, Clinical SMEs, Commercial, and Customer Success.

• Advocate for a culture centered around customer focus, experimentation, accountability, and continuous improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Life Sciences, Business, or a related field.

• Over 5 years of product management experience in developing enterprise software or SaaS products.

• Proven success in leading products from discovery to commercial launch.

• Strong expertise in customer discovery and product strategy.

• Experience in defining product roadmaps and prioritizing across various initiatives.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

• Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.

• Preferred: Experience in developing products that integrate artificial intelligence or machine learning.

• Familiarity with technologies such as: Large Language Models - Claude, ChatGPT, Retrieval Augmented Generation, AI agents, Semantic search, Vector databases, and Prompt engineering.

• Experience collaborating with Data Science teams to implement AI capabilities in production.

• Experience in defining AI quality metrics and evaluation frameworks.

• Background in life sciences, healthcare, or other regulated industries.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms, APIs, and contemporary data architectures.
