Senior Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with customers and Product Owners to articulate the product vision, strategy, and measurable outcomes.

• Guide cross-functional teams through the stages of discovery, planning, delivery, and ongoing enhancement.

• Create and sustain product briefs, roadmaps, and strategic documentation.

• Convert customer requirements, mission goals, and technical limitations into product priorities and execution strategies.

• Lead roadmap planning, backlog refinement, and prioritization efforts.

• Assist CI/CD pipelines, release planning, deployment strategies, and operational excellence alongside DevOps teams.

• Enhance delivery processes, minimize operational friction, and boost product reliability.

• Foster relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to sway decisions and fulfill program objectives.

• Champion user-centered design, Lean product principles, and iterative delivery methodologies.

• Eliminate obstacles and maintain project timelines with Engineering, UX, Business Analysis, and DevOps teams.

• Create scalable onboarding processes and documentation for product owners, producers, consumers, and platform partners.

• Increase platform adoption through strategic alliances within customer organizations.

• Design onboarding experiences that facilitate partner and user adoption and self-service capabilities.

• Oversee platform or API-driven products, integrations, shared services, and enterprise dependencies.

• Work with technical teams to delineate product functionalities, APIs, integrations, and platform services.

• Mentor junior Product Managers and refine product management practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with over 7 years of experience in Product Management.

• Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.

• At least 1 year of experience in leading cross-functional teams, including Engineering, UX, Business Analysis, and DevOps.

• Experience in developing product roadmaps, managing backlogs, and prioritizing tasks based on customer value and business goals.

• Proven track record of identifying and resolving delivery blockers while guiding products from concept to release.

• Familiarity with Agile product development methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, or similar frameworks.

• Experience collaborating with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines, release planning, deployment strategies, and contemporary software delivery practices.

• Background in managing platform products, API products, enterprise integrations, or shared services.

• Strong communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship, both now and in the future.

• Ability to successfully obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance.

• Preferred: CSPO, Certified Product Manager (CPM), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager, or other relevant Agile certifications.

• Preferred: Over 3 years in leading large-scale cross-functional product initiatives within complex enterprise or federal settings.

• Preferred: Experience forming strategic partnerships that boost product or platform adoption.

• Preferred: Experience in managing platform or API products that support multiple applications, teams, or enterprise services.

• Preferred: Experience in defining API capabilities, integrations, and platform strategies for scalable adoption and self-service.

• Preferred: Experience in developing scalable onboarding frameworks, documentation, and self-service functionalities.

• Preferred: Familiarity with cloud-native platforms, microservices architectures, or enterprise integration patterns.

• Preferred: Background in supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs or other Federal Civilian agencies.
