This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Establish the product vision and formulate the product strategy with minimal oversight.
• Develop agile roadmaps and translate strategy and vision into actionable increments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and cross-organizational teams, including policy experts, specialists, technical teams, partners, and client stakeholders.
• Foster connections across various practices and disciplines.
• Provide guidance and vision for product management to contract project teams.
• Enhance and expand A1M's product management practices.
• Mentor and educate internal A1M colleagues in product management competencies.
• Lead solution development and coach teams utilizing user-centered and agile methodologies.
• Assemble cross-functional teams to create products and solutions.
• Co-develop the product vision alongside product teams and client stakeholders.
• Distinguish client requirements from requests to effectively support product or program strategy.
• Deliver value within established timelines while managing competing priorities.
• Plan and oversee compliance processes.
• Cultivate cooperative relationships and coalitions, resolving conflicting organizational priorities.
• Communicate contract status, outcomes, and requirements to company leadership.
• Actively engage in client virtual meetings, including appearing on camera.
• Bachelor's Degree in business administration, design, computer science, cognitive science, human-computer interaction (HCI), human factors, or a related field.
• 8+ years of full-time relevant professional experience.
• Previous experience in local, state, or federal government settings.
• Understanding of federal government delivery issues, including ATO, FedRAMP, and PIAs.
• Strong critical thinking skills related to the product development process.
• Proven experience in delivering projects from strategy through execution.
• Experience in creating product roadmaps, OKRs, and user stories.
• Competence in presenting and securing buy-in for product decisions.
• Experience coordinating tasks within distributed, agile teams.
• Advanced editing and writing capabilities with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with modern web-based application development processes and tools.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without ongoing visa sponsorship.
• Permanent US residency.
• US residency for 3 of the past 5 years.
• Ability to undergo a Public Trust background investigation, including completing SF85 or SF85P forms, fingerprinting, and related disclosures.
• Willingness to work partner hours primarily aligned with Eastern Standard Time.
• Active involvement in client virtual meetings, including being on camera.
• Flexible hours to accommodate non-work-related life responsibilities during the day.
• Remote work arrangement available.
• Flexibility in working hours for employees located outside Eastern Standard Time.
