This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +29 more states.
• Establish the vision, objectives, and metrics for managed products and services.
• Conduct and integrate market research, user requirements, business needs, and technical strategies with designers, business analysts, and technical leaders.
• Outline project and feature direction, scope, priorities, user stories, and business performance indicators.
• Work in partnership with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver projects.
• Promote, refine, and secure support for product initiatives with teams, governmental partners, and contractors.
• Collaborate with project management to establish priorities for roadmaps and incoming tasks.
• Represent Nava’s outcome-focused and user-centered philosophy in agency and contractor discovery sessions.
• Comprehend and convey the needs of end-users, population segments, and government partners.
• Assess product advancement toward business objectives and user requirements, translating data insights into actionable steps.
• Make tactical design and requirements decisions while securing stakeholder support.
• Minimum of three years of experience as a Product Manager leading a cross-functional team.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven experience in managing and/or launching consumer web applications.
• Ability to create robust product plans and foster buy-in across teams, government partners, and contractors.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for navigating technical, user experience, and project management trade-offs.
• Strong inclination towards action with the capability to formulate action plans in uncertain situations.
• Competence in executing tasks with incomplete information, possessing strong product instincts and the ability to establish order from diverse needs.
• Skill in defining product goals and reverse engineering strategies and communications to achieve those goals.
• Ability to recognize market trends and shifts influencing product direction and adjust plans based on anticipated future developments.
• Adaptable, empathetic, collaborative, and possess a positive attitude.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Work authorization that does not necessitate visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• Capability to satisfy additional government contract conditions.
• May be subject to a government background check or security clearance, contingent on the contract.
• Must reside in one of the eligible U.S. states and work from within the contiguous United States.
