This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Identify essential user challenges and create intelligent AI-driven solutions.
• Manage a specific roadmap for developing zero-to-one AI features.
• Collaborate with product managers focused on consumers across different verticals to integrate applied AI capabilities into product workflows.
• Define, prioritize, and implement product strategies and user-facing AI features that streamline the insurance shopping experience.
• Lead rapid prototyping, conduct live user testing, create interactive prototypes, and execute hypothesis-driven A/B testing.
• Partner with engineering teams utilizing AI-assisted coding and development tools to expedite releases.
• Initiate standalone AI projects and implement personalized AI engines, dynamic discovery tools, or conversational interfaces throughout consumer touchpoints.
• Establish primary and secondary success metrics for releases.
• Assess outcomes through quantitative data analytics and qualitative insights.
• Communicate plans, progress, technical trade-offs, and post-launch insights to cross-functional partners and executive stakeholders.
• Report directly to the Director of Product, Applied AI.
• Contribute to leading AI-driven product strategies across The Zebra.
• Over 5 years of experience in consumer-facing product management.
• Proven track record of achieving measurable business results.
• Practical experience in building, testing, and deploying consumer features driven by modern AI, machine learning models, or personalized automation.
• Experience thriving in fast-paced, iterative settings with a strong inclination for action and rapid experimentation.
• Proficient in integrating contemporary AI tools into daily product management workflows, including discovery, specification writing, wireframing, and data analysis.
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Extensive experience in setting up feature tracking and interpreting experiment results.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to clarify complex technical trade-offs for cross-functional teams.
• Experience with zero-to-one product initiatives, innovation labs, or incubator pods.
• Familiarity with developer AI tools, LLM architectures, prompt engineering/orchestration, or modern AI agents.
• Background in high-growth, transactional consumer platforms such as fintech, insuretech, or complex marketplaces.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• This position is not currently eligible for visa sponsorship or transfers.
• Candidates must reside in the United States, excluding California, New Jersey, Massachusetts, and New York.
