Senior Product Manager, Agent Ecosystem

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the strategy and roadmap for Vanta’s agent ecosystem products.

• Establish how agents can discover, access, and securely utilize Vanta capabilities, collaborating with platform teams responsible for APIs and authentication.

• Ensure that tasks customers can accomplish within Vanta are also feasible through MCP, CLI, and plugin interfaces.

• Drive the launches of marketplaces and plugins across product, engineering, legal, security, and go-to-market teams.

• Work alongside engineering and design to deliver secure and reliable developer products.

• Develop marketing strategies aimed at developers through external agent documentation and customer success stories.

• Collaborate with product partnerships and alliances for co-marketing initiatives with agent platforms like Anthropic and OpenAI.

• Observe the agent ecosystem and strategically position Vanta within important technology stacks.

• Establish adoption and quality metrics, utilizing customer and product data to set priorities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of product management experience guiding products from strategy to successful outcomes.

• Proven experience in launching developer-facing or programmatic products, including APIs, integrations, plugins, SDKs, or CLI tools.

• Comfortable treating MCP, CLI, and plugins as product interfaces.

• Technical proficiency in APIs, authentication, and developer tools.

• Practical experience in building with AI and agent tools.

• Background in taking complex products or partnerships from conceptualization to launch.

• Ability to link ecosystem opportunities with customer challenges and product results.

• Experience in establishing relationships with technology platforms, AI firms, developer communities, or enterprise clients.

• Demonstrated capability in leading cross-functional initiatives across product, engineering, design, marketing, partnerships, legal, and go-to-market teams.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Sound judgment in ambiguous situations.

• A curious mindset, eagerness to learn, and a commitment to applying AI responsibly.
