This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Supervise the design, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of payment lifecycle touchpoints.
• Ensure seamless onboarding, high conversion rates, and proactive customer retention.
• Collaborate with engineering, regional teams, data science, legal, finance, and customer service departments.
• Provide localized, compliant, and high-performing payment experiences.
• Lead initiatives to penetrate new markets and support innovative business models.
• Utilize data and analytics to pinpoint pain points and optimize payment flows.
• Implement targeted actions to minimize churn and maximize customer lifetime value.
• Ensure that billing and invoicing systems are robust, scalable, and ready for compliance.
• Collaborate with other Netflix product teams on payment lifecycle solutions and cross-domain experiences.
• Mentor and lead Product Managers across Checkout & Payment Onboarding, Retention, and Billing & Invoicing.
• 8+ years of demonstrated experience in product management, preferably in payments, checkout, retention, billing, or financial systems.
• Profound knowledge of global payment systems, recurring subscription models, payment onboarding processes, and lifecycle management.
• Experience in optimizing checkout conversion, payment approval rates, and minimizing involuntary churn.
• Proficient in leveraging machine learning and data-driven methodologies to enhance payment flows, tailor retention strategies, or achieve business outcomes in product management.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements for payments, billing, and invoicing, including tax, VAT/GST, and regional regulations.
• Understanding of subscription lifecycle events such as sign-ups, proration, upgrades/downgrades, suspensions, and reactivations.
• Experience in developing and implementing retention strategies, including payment recovery, retries, and personalized interventions.
• Ability to analyze complex payments and billing scenarios and create user-centric, scalable solutions.
• Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with engineering, design, finance, legal, and regional partners.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; comfortable making data-driven decisions.
• Excellent project management and organizational capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to foster strong partnerships and work collaboratively across various domains and geographies.
