This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and implement talent acquisition strategies that align with product and engineering roadmaps as well as business growth objectives.
• Act as a trusted consultant to engineering and product leaders regarding talent market trends, hiring strategies, and workforce planning.
• Oversee full-cycle recruiting for intricate, highly specialized roles within engineering and product functions.
• Acquire a thorough understanding of technical skill sets, team configurations, and success criteria.
• Create and implement innovative sourcing strategies to attract and engage top-tier, diverse technical talent.
• Utilize tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, specialized technical communities, and AI-driven sourcing platforms.
• Conduct structured screenings and collaborate with hiring teams to effectively evaluate technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and cultural fit.
• Provide a high-touch, transparent candidate experience that embodies Fortive’s values.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and HR leaders to grasp hiring requirements, team dynamics, and organizational objectives.
• Facilitate alignment through intake sessions, calibration discussions, and continuous communication.
• Establish and sustain strategic pipelines for essential technical positions, anticipating future hiring demands.
• Proactively identify talent shortages and devise solutions to address them.
• Advocate for Fortive’s employer value proposition within technical talent communities.
• Collaborate on initiatives to enhance brand recognition among engineering and product talent.
• Utilize recruiting data, market insights, and competitive intelligence to shape hiring strategies.
• Monitor key performance indicators (e.g., pipeline health, conversion rates) and offer actionable insights.
• Advise senior leadership on talent supply and demand, compensation benchmarks, and competitive landscape.
• Influence hiring decisions through insights driven by data and market expertise.
• Work with HR and business leaders to facilitate effective onboarding and retention strategies for technical hires.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Talent Acquisition, HR, or a related discipline within a global organization.
• Extensive experience in recruiting for engineering and product roles (e.g., Software Engineers, Product Managers, AI/ML, Data Scientists).
• Proven ability to independently lead complex, high-impact technical searches.
• Strong comprehension of technical roles, skill sets, and hiring trends in engineering and product sectors.
• Proficiency in contemporary sourcing methods, including LinkedIn Recruiter, technical platforms, and AI-enabled tools.
• Strong analytical skills with a track record of using data to guide talent strategies.
• Demonstrated capacity to influence and build trust with senior technical stakeholders.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills across diverse teams and geographical locations.
