Senior Product Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Implement AI-driven development methodologies to quickly prototype, validate, and deliver production-ready solutions.

• Discover opportunities throughout the organization where software, automation, data, or AI can significantly enhance operations, products, or revenue.

• Manage solutions from start to finish—covering discovery, scoping, architecture, implementation, deployment, measurement, and ongoing refinement.

• Work closely with business stakeholders to comprehend challenges, define solutions, discuss trade-offs, and assess results.

• Design, create, and sustain full-stack applications, backend services, automation, and internal tools that contribute to business success.

• Participate in architectural decision-making, technical strategy, and the long-term evolution of the platform.

• Engage directly with cloud infrastructure and edge platforms, such as AWS and Cloudflare.

• Oversee, troubleshoot, and enhance system reliability, observability, performance, and operational excellence.

• Conduct thorough code reviews, maintain high engineering standards, and mentor fellow engineers.

• Regularly assess new technologies, AI capabilities, and development methodologies that can boost team productivity and engineering efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven capability to transition from unclear business challenges to deployed solutions, collaborating with stakeholders throughout the discovery, delivery, and measurement phases.

• A strong history of independently delivering complex software systems and achieving business results with minimal guidance.

• Excellent judgment in evaluating build-vs-buy scenarios and recognizing opportunities to utilize existing platforms, automation, and AI prior to developing custom solutions.

• Demonstrated ability to effectively utilize AI-assisted development tools in production settings while ensuring high standards for quality, security, performance, and maintainability.

• Strong systems thinking and architectural discernment to validate, refine, and enhance AI-generated solutions.

• Experience in building and maintaining production-ready web applications.

• Comfortable working within contemporary application frameworks (e.g., Laravel or similar).

• Proficient in designing and implementing experimentation and A/B testing frameworks (e.g., PostHog or similar tools).

• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Cloudflare, or similar platforms).

• Extensive experience with relational databases, including crafting and optimizing queries both within and outside of ORMs.

• Proficient in Git-based development workflows, code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment methodologies.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a globally distributed environment.

• Self-motivated, highly independent, and comfortable working in a remote-first setting while managing priorities and consistently delivering outcomes.
