Senior Product Designer, German-speaking

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Austria.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of design throughout the entire product lifecycle, from discovery and problem definition to final implementation, quality assurance, and refinement.

• Transform intricate fintech and SMB workflows into straightforward, user-centered experiences through research, product analytics, and customer insights.

• Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, Analysts, and fellow Designers to outline project scopes, establish outcomes, and deliver high-quality solutions.

• Develop flows, wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity mockups, and detailed product specifications.

• Enhance the design system and overall product quality by fostering consistency, accessibility, scalability, and attention to interface detail.

• Assist with high-priority projects, including modular pricing, onboarding UX transformation, and AI Copilot features.

• Clearly define challenges, rigorously explore solutions, and deliver work that positively impacts the lives of entrepreneurs, freelancers, and small businesses.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in product design, preferably within fintech, SaaS, or complex digital product settings.

• Formal qualifications in design disciplines such as Product Design, Interaction Design, UX/UI, Visual Communication, HCI, or a related area.

• A strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design thinking, interaction and visual design skills, and polished execution.

• Proven experience in designing intricate platforms that involve multiple user flows, states, permissions, edge cases, and dependencies.

• Ability to work confidently in cross-functional teams and articulate design decisions based on research, product data, business context, and customer feedback.

• Excellent English communication skills.

• Proficiency in German or experience designing for German-speaking users is highly valued.

• Active engagement with AI tools for exploration, synthesis, prototyping, critique, documentation, and rapid iteration.
