Senior Digital Product Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +31 more states.

📋 Description

• Create digital experiences that enable individuals to utilize data for informed business decisions and enhance patient care.

• Develop experiences for both employees and patients through LLM-based and conventional digital interactions.

• Collaborate on prototyping future experiences and visualize long-term digital solutions.

• Engage in the product design double diamond process, from discovery and ideation to testing, delivery, and iteration.

• Assist leaders and partners in forming vision and strategy in unclear situations.

• Bring experiences to fruition through SaaS configurations or custom-developed digital solutions.

• Oversee the design, development, documentation, debugging, and support of user interfaces.

• Create responsive websites, native mobile applications, voice interfaces, and other emerging digital experiences.

• Provide user studies, user flows, wireframes, UI designs, prototypes, annotations, and other related deliverables.

• Develop web and native UI transitions and animations while collaborating with developers for execution.

• Conduct usability testing and user research and analyze analytics data.

• Work alongside managers, developers, engineers, and designers to deliver engaging Banner Health experiences.

• Create and maintain interactive style guides, design systems, and enterprise standards.

• Mentor UI/UX designers and offer guidance in the absence of department leadership.

• Independently design and develop system learning products and projects within established procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, User Interface/Experience, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a relevant field, or equivalent experience and education.

• Over seven years of experience in the interactive design industry, including product design and brand marketing.

• A portfolio showcasing a blend of UX and UI competencies with experience designing across various devices.

• Proficiency in graphic design, web frameworks, and systems design.

• Experience in delivering projects on time and within budget in creative and collaborative settings.

• Familiarity with working alongside engineering teams and a solid understanding of Agile product development.

• Strong knowledge of low- and high-fidelity prototyping techniques.

• Expertise in modern design tools such as Sketch, InVision, and Adobe Suite.

• Experience with coding in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Demonstrated ability in testing, measuring, and refining designs based on user feedback and market insights.

• Previous agency and interactive studio experience is highly preferred.

• Additional related education and/or experience is preferred.

• Must be a resident of one of the eligible states listed in the posting.

• A portfolio must be submitted with the application.
