Senior Product Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the complete design process for one or more product areas, spanning from problem identification and exploration to high-fidelity design, launch, and iterative improvements.

• Create clear and efficient experiences for data-intensive workflows, encompassing pricing recommendations, renewals, dashboards, analytics, and reporting.

• Develop AI-driven product experiences, such as the Ask Rentana natural language interface, with a focus on transparency, control, and building user trust.

• Organize and conduct customer interviews, usability testing, and workflow observations in collaboration with Customer Success and Sales.

• Collaborate with product management and the Chief Product Officer to identify problems, outline solutions, and balance ambition with speed.

• Work closely with engineering by providing specifications, overseeing the implementation process, and refining product details.

• Build, maintain, and enhance Rentana's design system.

• Elevate the quality of design through critique, adherence to standards, and sharing of craftsmanship.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in product design, with substantial experience in B2B SaaS or other complex software products.

• A portfolio showcasing completed projects, strong interaction and visual design skills, and well-articulated reasoning behind design choices.

• Proficiency in designing data-rich interfaces such as dashboards, tables, data visualizations, or analytical workflows.

• Strong user research capabilities and ease in engaging directly with customers.

• Ability to independently navigate ambiguous challenges to create well-designed, deliverable solutions.

• Proficient in Figma and modern design system methodologies.

• Outstanding communication and collaboration skills across product, engineering, sales, and customer success teams.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment with shifting priorities.
