Product Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Gain insights into customer needs and frame product challenges utilizing internal input, user research, and both qualitative and quantitative feedback.

• Leverage AI tools to synthesize research findings, identify key themes, and analyze usage data while validating results against original sources.

• Discover opportunities for product enhancements and evaluate market demands along with customer preferences.

• Create UX/UI designs that align with the strategic roadmap across the product suite.

• Implement AI-assisted workflows for exploration, prototyping, and addressing edge cases and various states.

• Present design concepts to product, engineering, QA, cross-functional teams, customers, and potential clients.

• Adapt designs based on feedback and evolving customer preferences.

• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineers, and QA to enhance products and streamline processes.

• Review AI-assisted builds to ensure design fidelity, accessibility, and consistency.

• Sustain and advance the multi-product design system and design library, encompassing components, tokens, and guidelines.

• Develop and maintain AI skills, prompts, and templates that facilitate rapid prototyping.

• Document design principles, patterns, components, and research findings.

• Share reusable workflows and mentor the broader team on effective AI utilization in design.

• Craft AI-driven product experiences that clarify expectations, articulate reasoning, maintain user control, manage errors, and foster trust.

• Adhere to responsible AI policies regarding customer and company data.

• Keep abreast of AI design trends and suggest valuable tools and techniques.

⛳️ Requirements

• Established experience throughout all stages of the design process: user research, wireframing, prototyping, visual design, interaction design, and usability testing.

• A well-rounded portfolio showcasing comprehension of customer and business objectives.

• An intuitive grasp of customer needs.

• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.

• Capability to collaborate across functions while also working independently.

• Skill in managing multiple projects with diverse deadlines and scopes.

• Strong creative and problem-solving capabilities.

• Proficiency with Figma or a similar collaborative interface design tool.

• Bachelor’s degree in visual communications, graphic design, or a related field, or equivalent experience (4+ years).

• Over 5 years of relevant design experience, specifically in UX/UI.

• Practical experience with generative AI tools in design tasks.

• Ability to formulate clear prompts and critically assess AI-generated outputs.

• Knowledge of AI-powered feature behaviors, variable outputs, and potential errors.

• Curiosity and openness to adapt as AI tools and team practices develop.

• Experience in building or maintaining a multi-product design system, including components and design tokens (preferred).

• Background in designing B2B software, vertical SaaS, or payment experiences (preferred).

• Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) (preferred).

• Experience in prototyping with AI-assisted or code-based tools (preferred).

• Must reside in the United States, possess full working rights, and not require sponsorship.
